Hyphenate Consulting was started by Devin Connelly – Vander Schaaf in May of 2021. Devin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Political Science and Integrated Liberal Studies. After college, Devin began working at Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI) honing marketing, website, grant writing, PR and SEO skills. While at ASI, Devin wore “many hats” and worked with many marketing, web development and consulting firms. While working at this nonprofit, one thing became clear: far too often bids for website, grant writing, marketing or SEO services would come back too high. Nonprofit organizations, churches and small businesses — typically cash strapped with small budgets — need a multitude of services to help them reach clients, generate income and optimize/maintain their websites. They need a hyphenated approach at the right price.
After some time as a freelancer Devin started Hyphenate Consulting during the pandemic, a time where Hyphenates were needed more than ever.
